Three Stages Of Lice

Lice undergo three life stages: egg, nymph and adult lice. The lice eggs are small and yellow white in color. They may appear darker in dark hair. The nits hatch within 10 days. The nymphs, are simply immature lice. They do not lay eggs. The adult lice are greyish-white. A female louse can lay up to 150 eggs in her lifetime.
